What happens when you ask 27 of the world\u2019s most unstuffy, untraditional, brilliantly innovative jewelry designers to design hearts to their hearts\u2019 content, just in time for the holidays? You end up with 300 charms displayed on adorable miniature velvet steps in an adorable corridor at Bergdorf Goodman.<\/p>\n

The project, titled Have a Heart x Muse, features three glamorous hosts (dare we call them influencers?) who have selected their favorite heart charms, with a portion of profits going to their pet causes. For Deborah Watson it is Project ALS; for Lizzie Tisch it is Citymeals on Wheels; for Stacy London it is the Jed Foundation.<\/p>\n

The hearts are stunning in their infinite variety. Here are Holly Dyment\u2019s irreverent enamels and Kwit\u2019s fringy designs, Stephanie Windsor\u2019s curated vintage treasures and Nikos Koulis\u2019s spectacular one-of-a-kind pendant. Christina Alexiou dreams up pink gold babies with folkloric borders; Bea Bongiasca whets your appetite with open-hearted trifles in lollipop colors; Elie Top studs your charmed life with rubies. Some love tokens are not even, strictly speaking, hearts\u2014Luis Morais offers a miniature diamond hand making a peace sign, more poignant than ever in these fraught times.<\/p>\n

You can stand in front of these heartfelt cases for hours\u2014it\u2019s a delicious dilemma to try to pick a favorite. (Plus, it\u2019s warm and fun at BG! Go outside and look at the famous windows, then go upstairs and check out those 60 percent\u2013off racks!) But, of course, eventually you must face the eternal holiday dilemma\u2014do you purchase one of these charmers for a dear friend or forget about those other people (they already have enough stuff!) and just worry about yourself? (You\u2019ve been good! You\u2019ve been maybe a little naughty\u2014but in a nice way!)<\/p>\n
