As we continue to navigate these ever-changing times, in season two of What I Wore This Week, one Vogue editor shares their outfits\u2014both on Zoom and IRL\u2014from the previous week.<\/em><\/p>\n

My approach to getting dressed used to be all about saving my favorite outfits for a special moment, but if 2020 has taught me anything, it\u2019s that \u201cthe moment\u201d is actually right now. I believe every day is special in its own way, which is why I\u2019ve been having fun regularly putting together cozy holiday outfits this season, even if it\u2019s just for a trip to the bodega.<\/p>\n

This week, I spent time exploring my new neighborhood and enjoying the last little bit of sunshine on my rooftop, before topping off the week with a bottle of bubbly and great food. It\u2019s Thanksgiving week, after all.<\/p>\n

When it comes to long dresses, I am a borderline hoarder. This one has everything I could ever wish for in a warm winter midi, from the soft alpaca fabric knitted by Peruvian artisans to the fitted silhouette that flares out just above the hem. I love taking something that feels sophisticated and giving it an unexpected twist, so I layer a matching halter bralette by Mozh Mozh over the dress and finish off the look with my go-to Dr. Martens boots for some peaceful Sunday reading on my rooftop.<\/p>\n

To make my apartment feel a bit more festive, I decide to pick up\u00a0a festive wreath from the local flower shop. It\u2019s also Thanksgiving Eve, so I feel like stepping my outfit game up a notch with a corduroy mini skirt and matching cropped \u201cshacket\u201d\u00a0by Danielle Guizio.\u00a0My personal rule for getting away with micro-mini skirts during the day is to always pair them with a flat shoe. On Thanksgiving Day, I, of course, get dressed up just to go to the living room. Who doesn\u2019t? I\u2019ve had this off-the-shoulder ribbed knit dress for years, and it felt just right with my new Tamara Mellon boots.
