If anyone has a signature manicure, it’s Hailey Rhode Baldwin Bieber. The model and Rhode founder is now synonymous with the glazed donut manicure; sure, she wasn’t the first to wear a frosty, soft white chrome mani, but she definitely popularized the look. (I’m wearing a glazed manicure right now, soooo<\/em>\u2026) Bieber has been pretty faithful to the shimmery style since 2022\u2014which is eons in trend terms\u2014but lately, she’s been going glaze-less a lot more often, and her latest manicure is proof that maybe it’s time to take a break from the OPI Tin Man Can chrome powder!<\/p>\n

After a summer of nearly naked nails\u2014with a few visits to Polka Dot Nail Land along the way\u2014Bieber was back to the sheer, milky white nail she’s known for, minus one very important element: the chrome topping. The nails in question popped up at an event in Los Angeles, which Bieber attended alongside her husband Justin on August 28. If you zoom in, you’ll see that she’s holding her drink with the most classic Hailey Bieber manicure: medium-long, almond-shaped nails painted in a sheer white color, likely something like OPI’s Nail Lacquer in Funny Bunny. But if you were expecting glazed chrome nails, you’ll have to look elsewhere! This minimal manicure is sheer enough to let the tips of her nails peek through, similar to the \u201cfaded French\u201d she wore on TikTok a few weeks ago. The end result is a manicure that is simple, cool, and effortlessly stylish\u2014just like Bieber herself.<\/p>\n

It’s been fun watching the glazed nail trend evolve over the years and seeing other celebs put their spin on the glimmery, shimmery mani. Demi Lovato put a rock \u2018n roll twist on the look by swapping white polish for a cool gray, Jennifer Lopez went for a mirrored vibe, and Bieber herself has experimented with the glazed donut nail, including a soft, pearly version and a pink jelly glaze for Coachella. At this point, it’s safe to say that glazed nails are a forever trend, but hey, so is a simple, soft sheer white manicure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
