There was a time when it was so unusual to see Kylie Jenner<\/strong> with short nails that it was breaking news in Allure<\/em> land. For years, manicures you might refer to as \u201ctalons\u201d were an indelible part of her aesthetic. Even she had to admit that she occasionally couldn’t function when they were longer than long. Her more recent everyday manis have erred on the more modest side, extending just past her fingertips. But it seems, deep down, she still does love daringly long nails, and she brought them back for Paris Fashion Week.<\/p>\n

Jenner has been sharing bits and pieces of her ongoing trip to Paris on social media, revealing some jaw-dropping style moments, from a shimmering, silver Schiaparelli gown to a simple black slip dress. Needless to say, her glam is flawless\u2014especially<\/em> her hair. Last night, she wore the most mind-blowingly sculptural, sleek updo\u2014you can actually peer through her bun\u2014and today, she wore her hair down in a timeless, smooth, side-parted look (see above).<\/p>\n

But both public appearances have one glam element in common: her longest nails in what seems like ages.<\/p>\n

Jenner has definitely been on a French manicure kick lately, though up until now, they haven’t doubled as potential weapons. In this latest interpretation, however, the classic white tips are so vast that they don’t even begin their ascent to a muted point until well past the ends of her fingers. There may even be more white tip than there is beige-pink base. I mean, you might as well go for the extreme French while in France, right?<\/p>\n

In one of her posts, Jenner even takes a nibble on her nails, which are long enough to just barely miss scratching her nose during the playful choreography.<\/p>\n

We suspect this glam French may be a highly sophisticated press-on situation, so if you, too, are feeling the urge to wear lengthy nails but don’t want to commit to acrylics, let this give you the green light to go long.<\/p>\n
