If I told you Christina Aguilera’s manicure was on fire, you’d be like, \u201cOh, so you mean it’s really cool, right?\u201d Well, yes, that’s definitely true\u2026 but this isn’t just a figure of speech, because the Grammy-winning singer’s nails are actually<\/em> ablaze!<\/p>\n

Aguilera gave us a peek at the flaming manicure in a new TikTok video, which shows how the fiery nails came together for what appears to be a performance visual. \u201cNo genies were harmed in the making of this video,\u201d Aguilera wrote on TikTok. \u201cHappy spooky szn.\u201d As you can clearly see by both the pro footage and the BTS clip, this isn’t an optical illusion in the slightest. Aguilera has real fire licking the tips of her long, stiletto-shaped nude nails.<\/p>\n

Manicurist Zola Ganzorigt was the artist behind the burning tips, and wrote on Instagram that they were \u201cone of the most creative nails I’ve done.\u201d I’ll say! Ganzorigt added that she did<\/em> burn her finger a bit in the process, but was thankful to Aguilera for \u201cpushing me to think outside the box.\u201d The creative team didn’t quite<\/em> set fire to Aguilera’s actual nails. Instead, someone lit little wicks at the tip of each finger, essentially turning her nails into ten candles, and Aguilera posed with her hands all aglow before blowing them out and bursting into laughter. As cool as it looks, however, this is definitely a case of \u201cdon’t try this at home!\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn’t entirely surprising from Aguilera, who is completely fearless about her performances, music videos, and beauty game. She is<\/em> a fire sign\u2014a Sagittarius, to be exact\u2014after all! She also loves Halloween; need I remind you of her absolutely incredible Cher costume from 2023 or the blood-drip eye makeup from 2024? If these nails are any indication, the musician has something major planned for the end of October, though it’s anyone’s guess if she’ll keep playing with fire.<\/p>\n
