‘Tis the season for spooks, spells, and shiny, mesmerizing manicures. Just ask Jessica Simpson, whose prismatic silver set is like magic in a mani.<\/p>\n

Simpson stepped out to attend the premiere of Ryan Murphy’s new legal drama All’s Fair<\/em> and set the mood for spooky season in a smoky gray set with a cat-eye effect that made it shift and sparkle in the light. Her nails were long and filed into a soft almond shape, then painted a cool gunmetal gray shade with a microfine shimmer in a lighter silver tone. In certain light, the magnetic cat-eye texture made them look almost white, while from other angles, they were a deep, dark gray reminiscent of a mystical twilight sky in October\u2014or maybe even the \u201cdark side of the moon?\u201d The sparkle factor changed as she moved too, looking fully matte one moment and blindingly glittery the next. A handful of diamond rings added even more shimmer and complemented the luminous silver tone of her nails.<\/p>\n

We’ve seen them on nail trendsetters like Vanessa Hudgens, Lindsay Lohan, and Cardi B, and now, Simpson herself! We know she loves a nail art moment; in July, she hit the Today<\/em> show stage with all ten fingers covered in intricate, Western-inspired designs.
