If you were thinking of growing your hair out for spring and summer, Rihanna is here to convince you otherwise. The Fenty Beauty founder has been feeling longer lengths lately, but she recently stepped out in a curled-under lob that makes a very compelling case for going (or staying) short.<\/p>\n

Rih was snapped en route to her favorite restaurant, Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles, with her hair in a shiny black lob that hit right at her collarbone, just brushing her layered necklaces. Her hair was styled straight, with the ends curled under for a \u201890s vibe\u2014almost like a 2025 twist on the infamous \u201cThe Rachel” cut of yore. Looks like the celeb-fave flipped-out bob has some competition this season! Plus, the blunt lob was spotlighted by pros as one of the biggest haircut trends of 2025\u2014and now it’ll be even more<\/em> popular, thanks to Rihanna\u2019s co-sign.<\/p>\n

Everything about this look just feels so<\/em> right: the soft, curved lob paired with thick, chunky black sunglasses with amber lenses. The glossy, wine-colored lips, which just so happen to be the same shade as her tank top and pointed-toe heels. Her go-to milky manicure peeking out from one jacket sleeve. Sometimes the simplest looks can be the most impactful.<\/p>\n

As any celebrity beauty aficionado will tell you, Rihanna looks good in pretty much every hairstyle under the sun\u2014and she’s tried most of them too. A spiky updo with choppy baby bangs? Been there. Streaky highlights? Done that. Super long and super blonde? That was her vibe last spring. Her short styles are some of our forever faves, like her beyond-iconic pixie, which she wore in the late aughts and early 2010s, and the wavy crop with long bangs from 2016, among many, many other looks. \u201cI get bored. I get bored, and I need to move on to something, or I’m going to crawl out of my body,\u201d Rihanna previously told Allure<\/em> about her approach to her hair. \u201cCut it. I don’t care. It’s hair. It’ll grow back. Bleach it, whatever. Just do something.\u201d Truer words have never been spoken.<\/p>\n
