The Air Jordan 40 continues to surface in makeups inspired by the Air Jordan line\u2019s many legendary models. Following a Jordan 1-inspired pair and early looks at versions influenced by the Jordan 16, Jordan 23, and Jordan 28, we\u2019ve now uncovered a new \u201cInfrared\u201d colorway expected to drop around All-Star Weekend 2026. We\u2019re reminded, of course, of the iconic Air Jordan 6 of the same name, especially with that silhouette gearing up for its 35th anniversary next year.<\/p>\n

Shown in Jordan Brand\u2019s official product images, the Jordan 40 \u201cInfrared\u201d features a black suede upper, \u201cInfrared 23\u201d hits on the outsole and Jumpman branding, and Dark Grey accents throughout, all elements that pay clear tribute to the AJ6 legend. Unlike the trio mentioned above, this pair does not appear to incorporate hardware changes inspired by its muse model (at least based on this initial look). Even so, that combination of black and Infrared makes the shoe\u2019s inspiration unmistakable.<\/p>\n

The Air Jordan 40 \u201cInfrared\u201d is expected to release on or around All-Star Weekend 2026 next February. We\u2019ll update our coverage as soon as more detailed images become available. For now, enjoy a first look below.<\/p>\n
