Given that she’s the creator of Hot Girl Summer, it’s no surprise that Megan Thee Stallion is enjoying every moment of the season. She dropped a swimwear line (called Hot Girl Summer, obvs), stopped by the villa on Love Island,<\/em> and continues to give us all the beauty inspo, all the time. The latest in the Megan Thee Stallion canon isn’t an anime-inspired mani\u2014although she has blessed us with a few of those this summer\u2014but rather, a fun fusion of Myspace-era side bangs and fluffy, feathery waves.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust saying hi to thee hotties,” Megan wrote in her latest Instagram photo dump, where the sideswept bangs and layers played a starring role. Her hair, styled as always by Kellon Deryck, was worn parted to the side with deep side bangs that dipped below one brow, long enough to brush her lashes. (Megan loves a sideswept bang.) The lengths were styled in bouncy, flipped-out layers reminiscent of the \u201870s styles worn by stars like Farrah Fawcett, with the waves curled away from her face. Forgive me for the dorky joke, but this hairstyle is packed with body-ody-ody.<\/p>\n

The \u201cWhenever\u201d rapper stuck to classic Megan glam for her makeup, with makeup artist Diana Shin crafting the star’s trademark soft, winged-out smoky eye and long, lush lashes paired with lined, glossy lips.<\/p>\n

Before you go practicing your flipped-out hairstyling skills, we gotta take a minute for Megan’s nails, which were the perfect finishing touch for this summery look. Manicurist Ginger Lopez created a custom milky purple shade for Megan; her extra-long, stiletto-shaped nails were painted a pale lilac with a pink tone\u2014sweet, but still statement-making. Selena Gomez recently wore a similar color, and if anyone could convince us to swap our milky pinks and cherry reds for an ice cream lilac pastel, it’s these two.<\/p>\n

Megan’s Instagram followers were just as besotted with the look as we are. A quick scroll through her comments reveals a bevy of heart-eye and fire emojis. \u201cGirl pls I can’t breathe,\u201d wrote one. \u201cWhat a beautiful day to have eyes,\u201d wrote another. And one commenter summed up our thoughts in three succinct words: \u201cYES SIDE BANG!\u201d<\/p>\n
