Charli xcx<\/span><\/a> might be the busiest woman in show business. Recently, the British pop star dropped the trailer for her upcoming mockumentary <\/span>The Moment<\/span><\/em>, released two singles for the new <\/span>Wuthering Heights<\/span><\/em> film (of which she\u2019s recorded the entire soundtrack), and is also somehow moonlighting as a Substack writer. Outside of that, the trailer for Anne Hathaway vehicle <\/span>Mother Mary<\/span><\/em> dropped this week, which also features Charli on the soundtrack, and we\u2019re still yet to see her in multiple upcoming film projects like <\/span>The Gallerist<\/span><\/em>, <\/span>Faces of Death<\/span><\/em> and Greg Arakki\u2019s <\/span>I Want Your Sex<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite that hefty cinema schedule, Charli is also making sure her fashion credentials are kept in check too, lending her in-demand image to <\/span>Saint Laurent<\/span><\/a>\u2019s latest campaign. Shot by iconic fashion photographer <\/span>Glen Luchford<\/span><\/a> and art directed by label boss <\/span>Anthony Vaccarello<\/span><\/a>, the grainy video sees Charli lounge about in colourful anoraks from the brand while <\/span>Depeche Mode<\/span><\/a>\u2019s \u201cWaiting for the Night\u201d plays in the background. \u201cThe campaign plays on opposites,\u201d says the house. \u201cThe images mix athletic pieces and lacy lingerie details: a colour-blocked track top with a barely-there pleated skirt, a graphic technical nylon windbreaker, and the quilted Icarino bag. An evolved and refined evolution of the line \u2013 all come alive in this cinematic tension.\u201d Nice!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If one the outfits Charli\u2019s wearing in the campaign looks at all familiar to you, that\u2019s because she wore the red windbreaker look to the label\u2019s SS26 show in September, where she sat front row with <\/span>Zo\u00eb Kravitz<\/span><\/a>, Hailey Bieber and Ros\u00e9 from Blackpink. Besides that, Charli has had multiple Saint Laurent style moments recently \u2013 most notably at the Academy Museum Gala and on SNL<\/em> with Role Model \u2013 so it makes sense the house would make it official with a campaign. If her schedule is anything to go by, Charli is <\/span>probably<\/span><\/em> the hottest pop star in the world right now, and since <\/span>Saint Laurent was just crowned the world\u2019s most popular fashion brand<\/span><\/a>, we think they make a great pairing.<\/span><\/p>\n
