The big fashion finale of 2025 took place last night at the Royal Albert Hall, lighting up London\u2019s gloomy streets with sparkling gowns and famous faces. The annual Fashion Awards drew a crowd that included <\/span>Kylie Minogue<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Skepta<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Alex Consani<\/span><\/a>, Kim Cattrall, Cate Blanchett, Sharon Stone and <\/span>FKA Twigs<\/span><\/a>, to name a few.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While the <\/span>Met Gala<\/span><\/a> is hosted on the first Monday in May, London\u2019s Fashion Awards take place every year on the first Monday in December \u2013 which might explain why it rains every year. Breaking away from tradition, this year\u2019s ceremony was hosted by a <\/span>Burberry<\/span><\/a>-clad Colman Domingo, and was the first to take place under the British Fashion Council\u2019s new CEO, Laura Weir. Between the awards, guests (ranging from international press to reality TV stars and British fashion royalty) were treated to performances from <\/span>Raye<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Tems<\/span><\/a> and the English National Ballet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As for the awards themselves, <\/span>Dior\u2019s<\/span><\/a> leading man <\/span>Jonathan Anderson<\/span><\/a> scored a hat-trick by taking home Designer of the Year for a third time in a row, while <\/span>Givenchy\u2019s<\/span><\/a>Sarah Burton<\/span><\/a> was awarded British Womenswear Designer of the Year and <\/span>Grace Wales Bonner<\/span><\/a> (the newly appointed <\/span>creative director of Herm\u00e8s menswear<\/span><\/a>) was honoured with British Menswear Designer of the Year. <\/span>Dilara Findikoglu<\/span><\/a> picked up the Vanguard award, <\/span>Anok Yai won Model of the Year<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Little Simz<\/span><\/a> took home the first Cultural Innovator Award and <\/span>stylist Sam Woolf<\/span><\/a> was celebrated for his work with <\/span>Doechii.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
