how Jennifer Aniston introduced her boyfriend Jim Curtis to his first ever beauty tutorial—and only his second time appearing on Aniston’s own Instagram grid.

Posting to IG yesterday, Aniston posed the perennial question: How do you get rid of frizz but keep your waves? The answer: take a dab of her own brand LolaVie’s hair paste and a little bit of the lightweight hair oil, rub both together roughly, and run your hands through your hair. “Then you’re good to go,” she says simply, before turning around to reveal Curtis as her hair model. She tousles his hair with the products in hand, smoothing its ends and following the pattern of his own natural waves. “Cuteeee,” she emphasizes.

Aniston’s sculpting paste product promises strong hold without the stickiness thanks to some key ingredients: bamboo, birch, sugar maple saps, with kale, carrot, and lemon peptides. The addition of coconut MCTs, amaranthus squalane and açaí help keep hair moisturized without grease or weight, and peptides derived from chickpea, lentil, and quinoa seal the hair cuticle for smoothness. The lightweight hair oil adds shine and softness, with coconut alkanes that mirror the effects of silicone without heavy residue. Chia seed extract also helps split ends.

Instagram content

Frizz is primarily caused by humidity, dryness, genetics, and damage. Because hair is hygroscopic, it absorbs moisture from the air, which causes the shaft to swell and create frizz in humid conditions. Dryness can also trigger frizz, as moisture-deprived strands pull hydration from the environment and become puffier. Aging, hot weather, and wind can worsen dryness by reducing natural oils and weakening the hair cuticle. Genetics also play a role, with wavy, curly, and coily hair more prone to frizz due to their uneven cuticle structure. Then, there’s damage from heat styling, chemicals, harsh shampoos, or rough handling makes the cuticle more porous, allowing excess moisture in and increasing frizz.

But whatever the cause of your frizz, good haircare can make a big difference. Yet still, you must remember that there’s no one-size-fits-all solution to frizz. “Just like skincare, the right regimen is totally unique to every individual,” Oribe global artist Adam Livermore previously told Vogue. Your own individual hair type and routine matters. Whether its LolaVie or Olaplex, Color Wow Dream Coat, Hershesons’s Almost Everything Cream or Kérastase’s Première Filler Fondamental, the best anti-frizz hair products don’t just de-fluff, they also work on hair health too—think moisture retention, split end-smoothing, and improving strength.

Aniston is no stranger to recruiting friends to her beauty content, having celebrated the haircare brand’s fourth anniversary by getting her hands on Friends co-star Courteney Cox’s hair to provide some tips for a sleek blowout. But this is only the second time Curtis has appeared on Aniston’s own Instagram grid, after she hard launched him with a birthday post back at the beginning of November. Since then, the hypnotherapist has joined Aniston to make their official red carpet debut. With Curtis working in the wellness space—and with that thick head of salt and pepper hair, as well as a strong beard—it was only a matter of time before Aniston recruited her first LolaVie man.

Jennifer Aniston, a LolaVie woman and a lover girl all in one.

Source URL: http://vogue.com/article/jennifer-aniston-boyfriend-jim-curtis-frizz-curls-tips

Celebrity Beauty Jennifer Aniston Enlists Boyfriend Jim Curtis To Show Her Tips for Tackling Frizz By Anna Cafolla November 26, 2025 Photo: Getty Images “A little bit a this…A little bit a that….A little bit a cuuuute,” is how Jennifer Aniston introduced her boyfriend Jim Curtis to his first ever beauty tutorial—and only his second […]

[2
50
post-742845","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-politics","tag-vogue-com
["GET
