    The moment is finally upon us\u2026 and by that, we mean the first trailer for Charli XCX\u2019s forthcoming film, The Moment.<\/em><\/p>\n

    The A24 production\u2014conceived and produced by Charli herself, directed by Aidan Zamiri, and written by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes\u2014is, per Charli, \u201ca 2024 period piece,\u201d dramatizing the phenomenon that was Brat Summer. In it, Charli explained to Vanity Fair<\/em>, she plays \u201csort of a hell version of myself\u201d: \u201cIt\u2019s fiction, but it\u2019s the realest depiction of the music industry that I\u2019ve ever seen,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

    While much about The Moment<\/em> is still shrouded in secrecy\u2014that is, besides the star-studded supporting cast, which includes Rosanna Arquette, Hailey Benton Gates, Kate Berlant, Jamie Demetriou, Kylie Jenner, Isaac Powell, Rachel Sennott, and Alexander Skarsg\u00e5rd\u2014the trailer has given us some slight sense of what to expect.<\/p>\n

    11. As someone with zero poker face, I often wonder what I would do if 1) I became famous, and 2) a fan gave me an ugly portrait they\u2019d made. Unlikely, but good to be prepared just in case. \u2014H.J.<\/p>\n
