I did not<\/em> like Episode 4 of All\u2019s Fair<\/em>, which heaped far too much trauma upon my angel Niecy Nash-Betts, but this week, I worked to reset my annoyance about the sexual-assault tropes and approach Episode 5 of All\u2019s Fair<\/em> with an open and nonjudgmental mindset. Let\u2019s dive in and see how I fared in that endeavor, shall we?<\/p>\n

  1. I love Sarah Paulson\u2019s unenthused teen daughter.<\/li>\n
  2. I feel like Sarah should understand her kid not getting along with her peers, no? Since she\u2019s not exactly Miss Congeniality herself?<\/li>\n
  3. How, exactly, does this tween know that \u201ccrystal meth is a hard road\u201d?<\/li>\n
  4. Just the sight of mean private-school girls in uniform ignoring this child is giving me middle-school flashbacks.<\/li>\n
  5. Brooke Shields cameo, baby!<\/li>\n
  6. They\u2019re really just rolling out basically every beautiful actress over 40 as a jilted ex-wife or soon-to-be ex-wife, huh?<\/li>\n
  7. This Alzheimer\u2019s plotline is going to bum me out, I can tell.<\/li>\n
  8. \u201cI don\u2019t want to be responsible anymore.\u201d Same!<\/li>\n
  9. Well, at least they\u2019re not totally abandoning Emerald\u2019s assault plotline after one episode, but I also\u2026don\u2019t want more of it.<\/li>\n
  10. Hey, it\u2019s that girlie from House<\/em> whose name I always forget!<\/li>\n
  11. Okay, I googled; it\u2019s Jennifer Morrison.<\/li>\n
  12. \u201cFire me? Too late, bitch, I quit.\u201d Iconic.<\/li>\n
  13. We really do need a moratorium on exes\u2019 faces popping up as iPhone memories.<\/li>\n
  14. Are you listening to me, Tim Cook?<\/li>\n
  15. Naomi Watts\u2019s bob is, once again, bobbin\u2019.<\/li>\n
  16. I\u2019m already stressed about this prenup.<\/li>\n
  17. Is Sarah perhaps getting some semblance of her groove back?<\/li>\n
  18. Sarah\u2019s going to have to learn the same lesson I did: Guys don\u2019t necessarily love<\/em> it when you\u2019re super-mean to them.<\/li>\n
  19. Could have lived without that Diddy freak-off joke, personally.<\/li>\n
  20. I do enjoy the sight of Sarah Paulson taking out a guy\u2019s man-bun.<\/li>\n
  21. This sensual hair-wash goes crazy.<\/li>\n
  22. If a Ryan Murphy project doesn\u2019t feature a Stevie Nicks song, then it\u2019s not<\/em> legitimate.<\/li>\n
  23. \u201cWhy are you being nice to me? Nobody is ever nice to me. What do you want?\u201d LOL.<\/li>\n
  24. Okay, we are not<\/em> seeing enough of Teyana Taylor, so I\u2019m glad she\u2019s onscreen now, even if only for this pregnancy storyline.<\/li>\n
  25. Do jaded LA tweens still enjoy Disneyland?<\/li>\n
  26. I mean, I certainly do, but I\u2019m a washed East Coast 30-something.<\/li>\n
  27. Getting berated by your mother into writing a school admissions essay about her former cutting habit? Yikes. But\u2026it would probably work?<\/li>\n
  28. This out-loud use of \u201cunalived\u201d is making me cringe and feel deeply for Gen Z.<\/li>\n
  29. Oh, hey, it\u2019s Kim K!<\/li>\n
  30. Where\u2019s she<\/em> been hiding this whole episode?<\/li>\n
  31. \u201cThe nontraditional girl-gay family thing\u201d actually sounds quite nice to me, as a gay girl.<\/li>\n
  32. Nobody delivers the line \u201cboo-fucking-hoo\u201d quite like Sarah Paulson.<\/li>\n
  33. Don\u2019t do pink cocaine, kids!<\/li>\n
  34. Truly, only Sarah Paulson could humanize this insanely written character.<\/li>\n
  35. Hey, it\u2019s Ed O\u2019Neill as Glenn Close\u2019s sick husband!<\/li>\n
  36. Glenn\u2019s house is very spooky-chic, and I want it.<\/li>\n
  37. It\u2019s sweeping-everything-off-the-table-in-anger time! Again!<\/li>\n
  38. Damn, an Olympic-level crashout from Close.<\/li>\n
  39. God, this show is so weird\u2026 and yet, I\u2019m seated!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
