When <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/fashion\/article\/66382\/1\/jonathan-anderson-loewe-era-greatest-runway-moments-zendaya-challengers-rihanna\"><span>Jonathan Anderson left Loewe<\/span><\/a><span>, his last goodbye was <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/fashion\/article\/66852\/1\/loewe-josh-o-connor-new-aw25-fw25-pre-collection-campaign-jonathan-anderson\"><span>one final campaign<\/span><\/a><span> featuring <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/tag\/josh-oconnor\"><span>Josh O\u2019Connor<\/span><\/a><span>. When <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/y-project\"><span>Y\/Project<\/span><\/a><span> sadly shut down at the start of the year, it surprised us with one final collection \u2013 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/fashion\/article\/66494\/1\/y-project-sends-us-to-heaven-by-marc-jacobs-margiela-balenciaga-julia-fox\"><span>a collaboration with Marc Jacobs\u2019 Heaven<\/span><\/a><span>. Now, former <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/jil-sander\"><span>Jil Sander<\/span><\/a><span> designers <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallpaper.com\/fashion-beauty\/lucie-luke-meier-exit-jil-sander\"><span>Lucie and Luke Meier<\/span><\/a><span> have delivered their swan song, a collaboration with luxury outerwear brand <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/moncler\"><span>Moncler<\/span><\/a><span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>After the ex-creative directors left their post back in February this year, today (November 18), the couple\u2019s final project for the German brand has been unveiled. It\u2019s a brand that is usually instantly recognisable \u2013 take those <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/valentino\"><span>Valentino<\/span><\/a><span>, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/richard-quinn\"><span>Richard Quinn<\/span><\/a><span> or <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/simone-rocha\"><span>Simone Rocha<\/span><\/a><span> quilted gowns, for example. However, while this new collaboration remains inherently Moncler, it\u2019s also very Jil Sander: simple, soft and elegant. That classic Moncler beehive shape has been stripped back and replaced by clean lines and voluminous layers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Inspired by the natural world, this collection skillfully balances the pragmatism of Moncler with the minimalism of Jil Sander. While the silhouettes may be more subtle than is typical of the outerwear brand, the \u2018roundness\u2019 of nature also served as inspiration \u2013 snow-capped peaks, rolling hills and smooth pebbles all informed the curved, bulbous jackets, padded cardigans, and dome-shaped skirts. Even the Moncler logo is displayed as a smooth, silver pin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Jil Sander may be the latest in a long line of Moncler collabs, but the Meiers have certainly taken a different route to their predecessors \u2013 a collection with minimalism at its core.
