When most of us look to add some razzle-dazzle to our outfits, we root around our jewelry boxes. Jennifer Lawrence heads to Sotheby\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Over the past few weeks, Lawrence has turned to the auction house on three occasions to finish off her already formidable looks. The New York premiere of Die My Love<\/em> marked the actor\u2019s first foray into the world of auction house bling. Dressed in a custom black sculptural column dress from Jonathan Anderson\u2019s Dior, she accessorized with a statement David Webb \u201chot dog\u201d necklace, made of links of black enamel, platinum, 18 karat gold, and diamonds.<\/p>\n

Shortly thereafter, Lawrence stopped by the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards to present W<\/em> editor-in-chief Sara Moonves with the Eugenia Sheppard Media Award. She accessorized her shirt and gathered skirt from The Row with a crystal, diamond, and pearl brooch from Ren\u00e9 Boivin, designed by 20th-century Parisian jewelry designer Suzanne Belperron, which Lawrence wore vertically. The 1930s brooch is festooned with rows of rose-cut diamonds and tapered tiers of rock crystal, bookended by two pearls.<\/p>\n

Last night, she went three for three at the 2025 Governors Awards. Wearing a white draped Dior dress, Lawrence added a pair of sculptural ear clips from JAR, designed by Joel Arthur Rosenthal in 1987\u2014a pair of pear-shaped diamonds surrounded by metallic branches, encrusted with diamonds meant to resemble frost.<\/p>\n

All this could be considered a subtle Sotheby\u2019s ad: All three of Lawrence\u2019s recent red carpet jewelry choices will be up for auction next month. Lawrence\u2019s stylist, Ryan Hastings, has turned to the auction house to zhuzh up the actor\u2019s roster of understated, black-and-white looks. It\u2019s a boon for both parties: for Lawrence, borrowing rare jewels is yet another fashion flex, while the auction house gets to build the pieces\u2019 provenance.<\/p>\n

Both the brooch and JAR earrings will hit the block on December 8 as part of the forthcoming collection, A Legacy of Elegance: Jewels from an Exceptional Collection.<\/em> The Ren\u00e9 Boivin is expected to fetch between $20,000 and $30,000, while Sotheby\u2019s estimates that the earrings will go for $300,000 to $500,000. The David Webb necklace, meanwhile, will be viewable at Sotheby\u2019s in New York before the December 11 Fine Jewelry auction, where its estimated price tag is $25,000 to $35,000.<\/p>\n

So you, too, can share a jewelry box with Jennifer Lawrence\u2014if you have several tens of thousands of dollars burning a hole in your pocket, that is.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
