From the Main sector, showcasing historical masters like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/sally-mann\">Sally Mann<\/a>, Irving Penn, Lisette Model and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/larry-clark\">Larry Clark<\/a> alongside contemporary voices, to the Digital sector, pushing the boundaries into AI, blockchain, and virtual forms of image-making, we\u2019re reminded that photography is evolving rapidly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Voices sector explores two rich themes of landscape and kinship. It brings together artists reflecting on territory, memory, relationships and belonging. The Emergence section on the first-floor balcony gives space to bold new talent from around the world, featuring 20 solo projects spanning multiple geographies and perspectives. The balcony also houses the incredible Books sector, featuring 43 publishers from 17 countries, with everything from indies such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/witty-books\">Witty Books<\/a> to big names like Aperture, and antiquarian sellers offering treasured collectables (like original copies of <\/span><em><span>Provoke<\/span><\/em><span> and other rarities). In a word, the fair is vast. Combining casual immediacy with masterful, deliberate composition, exhibitionism with introspection, Zhipeng\u2019s portraits of friends, lovers, fleeting strangers and flowers are intensely sensual and vividly beautiful. <\/span><em><span>Amour D\u00e9fendu <\/span><\/em><span>captures random encounters shot across the streets, parks, rooftops, riverbanks, bridges, and flower markets of Paris in 2023 using thousands of rolls of film \u2013 in his <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQ4RTL7DA1F\/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1\"><span>own words<\/span><\/a><span>, the book \u201ccontinues my exploration of intimate moments, youth, and the hidden poetry of love and life \u2013\u00a0 a visual diary of forbidden loves and fleeting freedoms\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQ131_ZjS7y\/?hl=en\"><span>Daniel Arnold<\/span><\/a><span>\u2019s pictures are unfailingly life-affirming. The New York-based photographer has an unmatched eye for those quite magical moments that underscore the absurdity, the beauty and the sheer oddness of humanity. As well as showing at the Kominek-Gallery booth, he\u2019s also launching his new photo book, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/art-photography\/article\/69005\/1\/daniel-arnold-you-are-what-you-do-loose-joints-photo-book-nyc\"><em><span>You Are What You Do<\/span><\/em><\/a><span> (published by Loose Joints) \u2013 a compendium of chaos, comedy and romance on the streets of New York.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Specialising in Japanese postwar artists, Akio Nagasawa Gallery\u2019s booth in the Main sector features an array of incredible photographers. There\u2019s a cinematic, striking, and slightly unreal quality to his nighttime photography that recalls Todd Hido\u2019s similarly atmospheric, almost sci-fi landscapes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Director <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/jim-jarmusch\">Jim Jarmusch<\/a> was the special guest of Paris Photo 2024, curating a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/art-photography\/article\/64978\/1\/in-pictures-jim-jarmusch-celebrates-100-years-of-surrealism-paris-photo\">special selection<\/a> of work from across the fair inspired by his love of surrealism. This year, he returns to the fair with a selection of his own work, on display at Galerie Cl\u00e9mentine de la F\u00e9ronni\u00e8re (alongside James Barnor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/martin-parr\">Martin Parr<\/a> and Lee Shulman). This solo exhibition, <em>I\u2019ll Be Here to Remind You<\/em>, marks the 28-year-old\u2019s Paris Photo debut.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Widely considered one of the most daring war photographers of her day, <span>Marie-Laure de Decker\u2019s portraits <\/span>of 20th-century conflicts are<span> characterised by their deeply humanistic approach and the dignity with which she captures her subjects. You\u2019ll find her remarkable 1970s Vietnam pictures on display at the <\/span><span>Anne-Laure Buffard gallery, alongside her memorable, embelmatic self-portraits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><a
