Who Iz I<\/strong>\u201d di e con Sacha Baron Cohen, che trovate su Amazon Prime, dopo la disastrosa uscita di pochi giorni nelle sale americane, subito tolto e messo nella naftalina-salamoia dello streaming. Brutta fine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"disable\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"disable\">E\u2019 il ritorno, dopo vent\u2019anni di assenza, di un personaggio, il rapper cafone musulmano, che aveva senso all\u2019inizio del secolo, ma non pi\u00f9 oggi. \u201cNon ho riso neanche una volta\u201d, leggo nei commenti. \u201cRipugnante o delizioso, Ali G ha sempre ottenuto una forte reazione. Detto questo, l\u2019idea del film \u00e8 che, quando ali G scopre che la sua fidanzata \u00e8 incinta, decide di svegliarsi dal letargo e partire per l\u2019America per fare un po\u2019 di soldi. Invece ieri mi sono visto su Disney+ una vera rarit\u00e0, fino a pochi giorni fa, come \u201c<strong>Le avventure di Ichabod and Mr Toad<\/strong>\u201d prodotto da Walt Disney nel 1949, in pratica due mediometraggi, diretti da Clyde Geronimi e Jack Kinney uniti assieme da un filo inesistente.<\/p>\n<p class=\"disable\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagospia.com\/media-gallery\/dago-fotogallery-528533\/2322574\" class=\"float-left img-wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"2322574\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/static.dagospia.com\/img\/foto\/10-2026\/le-avventure-di-ichabod-and-mr-toad-3-2322574_800_q50.webp\"><span class=\"img-title\">le avventure di ichabod and mr toad 3<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"disable\">\u00a0Ichabod \u00e8 tratto da &#8220;The Legend of Sleepy Hollow\u201d di Washington Irving, e se avete visto la versione di Tim Burton sapete gi\u00e0 la storia. Mr Toad \u00e8 tratto da un celebre romanzo per ragazzi inglese degli anni \u201930, \u201cThe Wind in the Willows\u201d di Kenneth Grahame. Negli anni di guerra, la Disney aveva prodotto e poi abbandonato progetti di lungometraggi che funzionavano a met\u00e0. E il pubblico non ci rimase bene. Anche ora, presentato come film di Halloween su Disney + funziona solo in parte. Ma Sleepy Hollow \u00e8 piuttosto bello, con il cavaliere senza testa, narrata nell\u2019edizione originale da Basil Rathbone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"disable\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"disable\">Leggo che Washington Irving si ispir\u00f2, per scrivere il racconto, alla battaglia di White Plains de 1779, avvenuta vicinissima a Tarry Town, dove la storia si svolge. William Heath, un generale americano, scrisse nelle sue memorie di aver visto un cavaliere dell&#8217;Assia decapitato da una palla di cannone in mezzo alla battaglia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dagospia.com\/media-gallery\/dago-fotogallery-528533\/2322575\" class=\"float-left img-wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"2322575\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/static.dagospia.com\/img\/foto\/10-2026\/le-avventure-di-ichabod-and-mr-toad-2-2322575_800_q50.webp\"><span class=\"img-title\">le avventure di ichabod and mr toad 2<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"disable\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"disable\">Adoro anche il film di Tim Burton, dove Johnny Depp riprende un po\u2019 il personaggio di Ichabod Crane, ma non lo fa cos\u00ec stupidotto. Quanto a \u201cThe Wind in the Willows\u201d la Disney nel 1938 si compr\u00f2 i diritti del libro, scritto da Kenneth Grahame nel 1908, e inizi\u00f2 la produzione per farne un lungometraggio nel 1941. Si narra di un animatore che smise di lavorare su \u201cThe Wind in the Willows\u201d per andare in guerra.
