Jet2 Charter, the charter arm of the low-cost British airline.<\/p>\n<p>The specially configured Boeing 737-800NG has 76 business class seats, as opposed to the 189 seats on regular Jet2 planes of this size, each of which offers a minimum of 43 inches of legroom. It should be noted that Jet2 doesn\u2019t actually offer business class seats on its regular services.<\/p>\n<p>Based out of Liverpool John Lennon Airport in the UK, the airline has said it introduced the product following demand from sports, music, entertainment and specialist groups.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the first time that we have featured a dedicated business class specification on our aircraft, so this is an incredibly exciting development for charter customers,\u201d Trevor Caplis, head of charter and airline sales at Jet2, said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe feedback from charter customers who have flown on it has been exceptional, with the premium feel, space and comfort onboard really shining through. On top of that, the plane also has 12 first class suites.<\/p>\n<p>Emirates is also upgrading its offering, unveiling the \u201cworld\u2019s first electric premium economy seat with full-height privacy screen\u201d in September. <\/p>\n<p>TAP Air Portugal introduced \u201ceconomy prime\u201d back in June, while Qatar Airways CEO Hamad Ali Al-Khater has said the airline is \u201cseriously
