fashion and art photographers \u2013 say to me, \u2018oh my God, it\u2019s so amazing you guys shot with Eric Kroll!\u2019\u201d The admission comes from Dazed\u2019s US senior fashion editor <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/user\/zaramirkin\"><span>Zara Mirkin<\/span><\/a><span>, who\u2019s just collaborated with the legendary erotica photographer on a new shoot for our Autumn 2026 issue, shot on location in Tucson, Arizona. \u201cWe had the best time ever, and I\u2019m really happy with the pictures,\u201d Mirkin tells us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Born on October 23, 1946, Kroll began his photography career at the tail end of the 60s, before becoming a photojournalist in his native New York City. There, he was a prominent figure on the downtown art and nightlife scene of the 70s and 80s, shooting <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/madonna\"><span>Madonna<\/span><\/a><span> backstage at the club Danceteria and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/keith-haring\"><span>Keith Haring<\/span><\/a><span> at the Fun Gallery in 1983, as well as documenting <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/andy-warhol\"><span>Andy Warhol<\/span><\/a><span>, Kenny Scharf, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/jean-michel-basquiat\"><span>Jean-Michel Basquiat<\/span><\/a><span>, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/debbie-harry\"><span>Debbie Harry<\/span><\/a><span> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/grace-jones\"><span>Grace Jones<\/span><\/a><span>. There, he was a prominent figure on the downtown art and nightlife scene of the 70s and 80s, shooting <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/madonna\"><span>Madonna<\/span><\/a><span> backstage at the club Danceteria and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/keith-haring\"><span>Keith Haring<\/span><\/a><span> at the Fun Gallery in 1983, as well as documenting <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/andy-warhol\"><span>Andy Warhol<\/span><\/a><span>, Kenny Scharf, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/jean-michel-basquiat\"><span>Jean-Michel Basquiat<\/span><\/a><span>, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/debbie-harry\"><span>Debbie Harry<\/span><\/a><span> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/grace-jones\"><span>Grace Jones<\/span><\/a><span>.
