If you\u2019ve made plans to watch Red Bull Hardline BC<\/a> this Saturday, you\u2019ll be a day too late. Red Bull has decided to move the event forward one day, citing weather as the reason for the rescheduling. This move comes less than one week after the men\u2019s Rampage finals were canceled<\/a> due to weather after only nine riders dropped.<\/p>\n

\u201cRed Bull Hardline British Columbia has been rescheduled to Friday October 16 at 12pm PDT due to inclement weather conditions. The event will be broadcasted LIVE on Red Bull TV and Red Bull Bike YouTube,\u201d Red Bull announced on a few of its social platforms<\/a>. They expand on the decision further on their website:<\/p>\n

Red\u00a0Bull Hardline British Columbia has been rescheduled to Friday, October 16, at 12:00PM PT due to inclement weather conditions. The event will still be broadcast LIVE on Red\u00a0Bull TV and the Red\u00a0Bull Bike YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

Please note: Practice & Seeding has been moved forward to Thursday, October 15, with the Finals now happening on Friday, October 16.<\/p>\n

All tickets that have already been purchased (for both Friday and Saturday, Carpool and Shuttle) will be valid for entry for the Finals on Friday, October 16. There will be no tickets available for Practice & Seeding on Thursday, October 15, and tickets for the Finals are sold out.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The change comes just days after Rampage was canceled<\/h2>\n

On Saturday, Red Bull officials called off the men\u2019s Rampage finals<\/a> due to poor weather and high winds after just nine riders attempted their first runs. Since not every rider was able to attempt a run, no winner was crowned Rampage champion for 2026.<\/p>\n

This, of course, was to the disappointment \u2014 and criticism \u2014 of many watching, prompting them to ask why the event wasn\u2019t moved forward as well. With the women\u2019s competition on Thursday, many felt the men\u2019s competition should have been moved up a day and held on Friday. <\/p>\n

Officials later said moving the men\u2019s finals a day earlier wasn\u2019t possible, as it would ultimately be unsafe given the riders\u2019 limited practice time. With the Hardline BC move to Friday, we assume the riders have had enough laps to feel confident on the course.<\/p>\n

There has been quite a bit of buzz around Hardline BC, given its proximity to Vancouver, with officials expecting a large crowd. Red Bull made it clear that Saturday tickets to spectate the Hardline finals are good for Friday. And, if you couldn\u2019t make the event until Saturday, you\u2019re unfortunately out of luck to see it live. However, Red Bull is asking anyone seeking a refund to email [email\u00a0protected]<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n
