The game&#8217;s final DLC, set for release in early 2027, brings the worlds of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/subnautica-2\">Subnautica 2<\/a> and Dave the Diver together.<\/p>\n<p>Although the two games share deep-sea exploration as a mechanic, they&#8217;re at opposite ends of the spectrum tonally &#8211; though they&#8217;re still a better fit than many of the other brands Dave the Diver has crossed over with. These have included Balatro, Yakuza, Godzilla, and Guilty Gear to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>The upcoming Subnautica 2 DLC is free and was developed in collaboration with Subnautica 2 team Unknown Worlds. It brings Subnautica 2&#8217;s ocean moon of Proteus to Dave the Diver, and sees Dave and Bancho &#8211; having discovered all species of sea creatures and associated sushi recipes in this dimension &#8211; travel to a new dimension to uncover more.<\/p>\n<p>While there, yes, they&#8217;re going to run into Subnautica 2&#8217;s iconic Leviathan, but also make new friends and hopefully return home having made a lot of new discoveries.
