Pitbull breaks down the night he made history at Hyde Park in London — performing for 70,000 fans, setting a record, and landing a Guinness World Records moment with his “Baldies.” In this Billboard Cover Interview, Mr. 305 reflects on why that show felt different: “Time froze.”

From there, Pitbull gets real about the mindset behind staying “Mr. Worldwide” — from growing up in Miami surrounded by different cultures, to learning how to turn the raw into something polished without losing the truth. He also opens up about betting on himself in the business (including walking away from deals, rebuilding, and thinking long-term about streaming), why music is a universal language, and the advice he’d give artists carrying Latin culture on a global stage.

Plus, Pitbull talks Pitcoin, future touring plans, and the documentary he’s building — featuring interviews with names like Bon Jovi, Nile Rodgers and Tony Robbins.

Leila Cobo

Armando, welcome to The Champion. You know, this is a very traditional London pub.

Pitbull

I can see it. It’s amazing. Right. Looks like a lot of people had a lot of fun in here. Man, if these walls could talk.

Leila Cobo

I know. And you had a lot of fun last night. I gotta say, this is so quintessential London. A London pub, and then last night you played at Hyde Park, 70,000 people.

Pitbull

Yeah.

Leila Cobo

That we learned last night was a record. They had never had a bigger concert. And I’ve seen you perform a lot, but this is the first time that I saw you on a stage, and I felt you were very emotional.

Pitbull

Well, it was, it was couple of things. It was a record-making, record-breaking, history-making night. To be able to make a record as far as the Baldies and the fans, which, you know, I always say it as a truth, without them there’s no Pitbull bottom line. And to have the Guinness Book of World Record is phenomenal. To break the attendance record, and it was Garth Brooks who had it before, and him passing the baton, I mean, it’s just priceless. Speaking of Garth Brooks, hey, it’s good to have friends in low places.

Leila Cobo

Salud, Garth Brooks. [laughs]

PitBull

Salud!

Leila Cobo

Salud.

PitBull

. . . Salud, Garth Brooks. Cheers, my friend.

Watch the full video above!

[analyse_source url=”https://www.billboard.com/video/pitbull-billboard-cover-interview-video/”]

[analyse_image type=”featured” src=”https://www.billboard.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Billboard-Cover-Story-Pitbull-1920×1080-V5.jpg?w=1024″] Pitbull breaks down the night he made history at Hyde Park in London — performing for 70,000 fans, setting a record, and landing a Guinness World Records moment with his “Baldies.” In this Billboard Cover Interview, Mr. 305 reflects on why that show felt different: “Time froze.” From there, Pitbull gets real […]

[2
48,226
post-2185496","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-politics","tag-billboard-com","tag-crawlmanager
["GET
