The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS)<\/a> Freestyle World Cup is adding a new discipline to the family.\u00a0<\/strong>At the annual FIS autumn meetings<\/a> in Geneva, Switzerland, last week, representatives from across the freestyle skiing and snowboarding community gathered to discuss several items for the 2026-27 season, including adding street style to the World Cup circuit. FIS is working to introduce its first-ever street-style World Cup in 2027-28, with two test events currently planned. The discipline will also appear at the 2027 Junior World Championships at Secret Garden, China.<\/p>\n

With its own World Cup, street style joins the three other FIS park and pipe disciplines that have World Cup circuits: slopestyle, big air, and halfpipe.<\/strong> It is also part of a larger FIS ambition to put street style on the Olympic program in 2034.<\/p>\n
