Except, of course, if you\u2019re <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/zendaya\"><span>Zendaya<\/span><\/a><span>. This evening (October 6), as the US actor made her way to the Louvre, crossing the cobblestones of the Cour Carr\u00e9e to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/louis-vuitton\"><span>Louis Vuitton<\/span><\/a><span>\u2019s latest show, she cut a somewhat familiar, lily-white figure. Just this summer, she\u2019d tapped LV creative director <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/nicolas-ghesquiere\"><span>Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re<\/span><\/a><span> to design a look for <\/span><em><span>The Odyssey<\/span><\/em><span> press tour: an intricate white lace dress and a voluminous, matching bolero jacket, with dramatic folded lapels akin to an Elizabethan ruff. Today, at the label\u2019s SS27 show, Zendaya had swapped out the dress for a classic blue jeans\/white vest combo, but layered the casual look with Ghesqui\u00e8re\u2019s striking lace bolero. Who says celebs aren\u2019t resourceful!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Like most Vuitton shows, Z was joined by a slew of other famous faces, like fellow house ambassadors <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/emma-stone\"><span>Emma Stone<\/span><\/a><span> (who went simple in a cobalt blazer and matching shorts), <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/tag\/saoirse-ronan\"><span>Saoirse Ronan<\/span><\/a><span> (who rocked blunt baby bangs and colour-blocked knitwear), plus K-pop idol Lisa (in a frou frou top and leather mini). Outside of the ambassadors, <\/span><em><span>Adults<\/span><\/em><span> star Owen Thiele made his Louis Vuitton debut, <\/span><em><span>Sinners<\/span><\/em><span> actress Wunmi Mosaku wore an elegant camel cape, Sophies Turner and Thatcher were quite the Ghesqui\u00e8re muses, while Catherine Deneuve added some French classicism to proceedings. Completing the front row, however, were Yoonchae Jeung and Daniela Avanzini of the pop group Katseye, also making their LV debuts this evening. After Lara Raj and Megan Skiendiel \u2013 the band\u2019s other two remaining members \u2013 were <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/fashion\/article\/71104\/1\/pinky-up-katseye-s-numbers-drop-to-two-at-loewe-ss27-paris-fashion-week\"><span>spotted at Loewe at the weekend<\/span><\/a><span>, it looks like the girls have decided to divide and conquer to cover more shows. While last season\u2019s ready-to-wear show leaned into the roughness of the natural world, with hulking silhouettes and craggy textures, this evening\u2019s runway began with a series of light, gossamer garments, dresses, skirts and shirts that fluttered gently in the Parisian breeze. \u201cThe ergonomic. A notion of design fundamentally shaped by the conditions, capabilities and movement of the human body is the foundational principle\u201d of this collection, stated notes mailed out after the show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Always one to lean into the aesthetics of tomorrow, Ghesqui\u00e8re\u2019s collection was then populated by subtle nods to futurism. Space-age suits and reflective shades were shown alongside shift dresses inlaid with silver lam\u00e9 foil. The elaborately ruffled tentacles on coats hinted at the possibility of life beyond earth, while pieces of layered diamond fabric and beaded fringe headpieces gestured toward retrofuturism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As Ghesqui\u00e8re\u2019s future-facing collection appeared across the Cour Carr\u00e9e, the setting for the show was thrown into sharper relief. Except, of course, if you\u2019re <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/zendaya\"><span>Zendaya<\/span><\/a><span>. This evening (October 6), as the US actor made her way to the Louvre, crossing the cobblestones of the Cour Carr\u00e9e to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/louis-vuitton\"><span>Louis Vuitton<\/span><\/a><span>\u2019s latest show, she cut a somewhat familiar, lily-white figure. Just this summer, she\u2019d tapped LV creative director <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/nicolas-ghesquiere\"><span>Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re<\/span><\/a><span> to design a look for <\/span><em><span>The Odyssey<\/span><\/em><span> press tour: an intricate white lace dress and a voluminous, matching bolero jacket, with dramatic folded lapels akin to an Elizabethan ruff. Today, at the label\u2019s SS27 show, Zendaya had swapped out the dress for a classic blue jeans\/white vest combo, but layered the casual look with Ghesqui\u00e8re\u2019s striking lace bolero. Who says celebs aren\u2019t resourceful!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Like most Vuitton shows, Z was joined by a slew of other famous faces, like fellow house ambassadors <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/emma-stone\"><span>Emma Stone<\/span><\/a><span> (who went simple in a cobalt blazer and matching shorts), <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/tag\/saoirse-ronan\"><span>Saoirse Ronan<\/span><\/a><span> (who rocked blunt baby bangs and colour-blocked knitwear), plus K-pop idol Lisa (in a frou frou top and leather mini). Outside of the ambassadors, <\/span><em><span>Adults<\/span><\/em><span> star Owen Thiele made his Louis Vuitton debut, <\/span><em><span>Sinners<\/span><\/em><span> actress Wunmi Mosaku wore an elegant camel cape, Sophies Turner and Thatcher were quite the Ghesqui\u00e8re muses, while Catherine Deneuve added some French classicism to proceedings. Completing the front row, however, were Yoonchae Jeung and Daniela Avanzini of the pop group Katseye, also making their LV debuts this evening. After Lara Raj and Megan Skiendiel \u2013 the band\u2019s other two remaining members \u2013 were <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/fashion\/article\/71104\/1\/pinky-up-katseye-s-numbers-drop-to-two-at-loewe-ss27-paris-fashion-week\"><span>spotted at Loewe at the weekend<\/span><\/a><span>, it looks like the girls have decided to divide and conquer to cover more shows. While last season\u2019s ready-to-wear show leaned into the roughness of the natural world, with hulking silhouettes and craggy textures, this evening\u2019s runway began with a series of light, gossamer garments, dresses, skirts and shirts that fluttered gently in the Parisian breeze. \u201cThe ergonomic. A notion of design fundamentally shaped by the conditions, capabilities and movement of the human body is the foundational principle\u201d of this collection, stated notes mailed out after the show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Always one to lean into the aesthetics of tomorrow, Ghesqui\u00e8re\u2019s collection was then populated by subtle nods to futurism. Space-age suits and reflective shades were shown alongside shift dresses inlaid with silver lam\u00e9 foil. The elaborately ruffled tentacles on coats hinted at the possibility of life beyond earth, while pieces of layered diamond fabric and beaded fringe headpieces gestured toward retrofuturism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As Ghesqui\u00e8re\u2019s future-facing collection appeared across the Cour Carr\u00e9e, the setting for the show was thrown into sharper relief.
