These include &#8220;further performance improvements, particularly on PS5&#8221;, &#8220;further visual adjustments&#8221;, and &#8220;voiceover audio fixes on consoles&#8221;. &#8220;We&#8217;re aiming to address many of these in the next update,&#8221; CDPR said. &#8220;We&#8217;re also investigating other reported issues, so please keep sharing your reports through [<a href=\"https:\/\/support.cdprojektred.com\/en\/\">this link<\/a>].&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>CDPR said it&#8217;s also &#8220;working on bringing more mods across all platforms&#8221; together with mod.io; cross-platform mod support was added in the Remastered edition of the game. Not long after it was released last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/witcher-3-remastered-community-reaction-lighting\">various technical issues were surfaced by the community<\/a>, alongside more stylistic concerns that the game is too bright now &#8211; a complaint CDPR seems to have acknowledged by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/witcher-3-remastered-lighting-patch-pc\">releasing a couple<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/witcher-3-lighting-brightness-patch-remastered\">lighting-related hotfixes<\/a>. CDPR has not responded beyond this; I was told the company had no comment to make when I asked specifically about it last week.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"injection_placeholder\" data-position=\"1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>And there still seems to be unrest in the community. Two other game-related areas CDPR said it was working on &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/companies\/twitch\">Twitch<\/a> Drops and Ukrainian localisation &#8211; seem to have particularly aggravated the audience. &#8220;Well I&#8217;m glad you&#8217;re focused on Twitch drops and Ukrainian localisation while there are game breaking bugs everywhere,&#8221; read one much-liked comment on X.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Please bring back the next-gen version to PS5,&#8221; read another. &#8220;Don&#8217;t delete for preservation the next-gen version to the people that already owned [it]. For some of us, we prefer the next-gen version. Bring us the option back.&#8221; You can, incidentally, roll back the game-version on PC without much trouble, but on console, the option isn&#8217;t there.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/witcher-3-wild-hunt-remastered-generous-upgrade-makes-it-new-again\">The Remastered overhaul of The Witcher 3 significantly updates the game<\/a>, redrawing textures and environments as well as updating animations and skills in the game. It&#8217;s a huge undertaking &#8211; effectively a 3.0 release &#8211; and given that it arrives 11 years into the game&#8217;s life, and for free, it&#8217;s an extraordinarily generous thing for CDPR to do. However, it also raises minimum system requirements for the game in the process, putting more strain on older machines.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s an effort to modernise the by-now legendary RPG ahead of a third and unprecedented expansion &#8211; for a single-player game so far from release &#8211; arriving next year, called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/games\/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-songs-of-the-past\">Songs of the Past<\/a>.
