The new Renault Twingo<\/a> is adorable. A fun little car full of joy. Now, you can fill even more of it with joy (assuming you live somewhere sunny) because Renault will soon offer the Twingo with the adorably named \u2018Twingobay\u2019.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a tiny 0.7m2<\/sup> panoramic roof that will add a bit more sense of space inside the baby car. And because it\u2019s a fun little baby car and not a serious gwown up car, the roof\u2019s been rounded off! And it gets a little graphic alphabet on the inside too!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Obviously, there is some gwown up stuff to talk about, like the fact this new roof is apparently able to filter out 99.9 per cent of UVs and block out \u2018most\u2019 IR radiation. There\u2019s a \u201clow emissivity film\u201d that gives the car \u201chigh standards of thermal comfort\u201d and\u2026 OK, that\u2019s enough sensibleness.<\/p>\n

We do not yet know if it\u2019ll open allowing your passengers or your dog to stick their heads out and embrace the elements, but\u2026 come on Renault, make it so. Imagine a giant St Bernard\u2019s head sticking out the top of a car smaller than itself.<\/p>\n

UK cars will get the roof next summer, so prices will be revealed closer to the time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In other less fun news, Renault\u2019s decided what the Twingo also needs to be filled with is artificial intelligence, so Gemini will be an optional OTA update coming soon too.<\/p>\n
