The Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show sponsored by Carole Nash returns to Staffordshire Showground on October 10-11, with more than 900 traders, dealers and autojumble stands, a huge club presence, famous racing machinery, special guests and the Bonhams Autumn Stafford Sale.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Staffordshire Showground is preparing to welcome thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts for one of the biggest classic bike weekends of the year.<\/p>\n

The Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, established in 1994, returns on October 10-11 with a particular focus on the motorcycles of the 1970s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.<\/p>\n

The event regularly attracts more than 30,000 enthusiasts and combines club displays, private entries, trade stands, autojumble, racing machinery, live entertainment and the two-day Bonhams auction.<\/p>\n

Mackenzie and Whitham head to Stafford<\/h3>\n

Three-time British Superbike Champion and former Grand Prix rider Niall Mackenzie and former British Superbike and World Championship racer James Whitham are this year\u2019s special guests.<\/p>\n

Both will take part in live interviews and share stories from their racing careers, as well as appearing in the Classic Racer GP Paddock and VIP Lounge.<\/p>\n

Whitham is due to attend throughout the weekend, with Mackenzie appearing on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Race bikes come to life<\/h3>\n

One of Stafford\u2019s biggest attractions is the Classic Racer GP Paddock, where famous racing motorcycles will be fired up twice each day.<\/p>\n

The neighbouring Competition Hall will add motocross, trials, enduro and road racing machines to the mix.<\/p>\n

A wide selection of racing clubs, organisations and private displays will also be represented.<\/p>\n

Clubs out in force<\/h3>\n

Dozens of owners\u2019 clubs and specialist groups will showcase hundreds of motorcycles covering a huge range of manufacturers, eras and styles.<\/p>\n

Displays range from British marques and Japanese superbikes to Italian machinery, two-strokes, mopeds and competition bikes.<\/p>\n

Private entries will sit alongside the club displays, with owners competing for a range of awards including Best in Show.<\/p>\n

Parts, projects and autojumble bargains<\/h3>\n

Stafford remains a major destination for anyone searching for classic motorcycle parts.<\/p>\n

More than 900 traders, dealers and autojumble stands are set to attend, with trade spread across five large halls and extensive outdoor autojumble areas.<\/p>\n

Visitors can expect complete motorcycles, restoration projects, rare components, tools, workshop equipment, clothing, accessories and memorabilia.<\/p>\n

Bonhams auction returns<\/h3>\n

The Bonhams Autumn Stafford Sale takes place across both days of the show.<\/p>\n

The auction starts at 10am on Saturday and Sunday, with viewing beforehand and throughout each day.<\/p>\n

A catalogue is required for access to the auction and can be purchased in advance or at the event.<\/p>\n

VIP option<\/h3>\n

A limited \u00a350 VIP package is available and includes admission, priority parking, early show entry, access to the VIP Lounge, unlimited tea and coffee, lunch and a complimentary Meguiar\u2019s Cleaning Kit worth \u00a360.<\/p>\n

The lounge will also be used by a number of the show\u2019s special guests during the weekend.<\/p>\n

Music and entertainment<\/h3>\n

The Daisy Belles will perform songs from the 1970s, 80s and 90s at the show\u2019s bandstand, adding live entertainment to a weekend already packed with motorcycles.<\/p>\n

When is the Stafford show?<\/h3>\n

The Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show takes place at Staffordshire Showground on:<\/p>\n

Saturday, October 10 \u2013 9am to 5pm<\/strong>
Sunday, October 11 \u2013 9am to 5pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Advance ticket holders can enter from 9am. Visitors buying tickets at the gate can enter from 9.30am.<\/p>\n

Save \u00a35 by booking ahead<\/h3>\n

Adult tickets cost \u00a318 in advance compared with \u00a323 on the gate \u2013 a saving of \u00a35 per person.<\/p>\n
