Located in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Whistler Blackcomb<\/a> is Canada\u2019s largest and most famous resort.\u00a0<\/strong>With more than 8,000 skiable acres, over 200 runs, 16 alpine bowls and three glaciers, 35 lifts, and two mountains, the mountain has something for all skiers, no matter their age, skill level, or interest.<\/p>\n

The start of Whistler\u2019s 2026-27 season is less than two months away, with the resort\u2019s scheduled opening date set for November 20, 2026, so long as conditions permit. <\/strong>The opening date marks the end of the off-season at the Canadian resort, and this off-season was a busy one.<\/p>\n

Over spring and summer, the resort conducted numerous upgrades<\/a> and improvements on both the mountain and in the base area. <\/strong>From lift upgrades to new food items to new pass holder benefits, employees at Whistler were hard at work over the offseason, preparing the resort for the upcoming season.
