He explained that neighbouring countries such as Croatia have had longer to work on their own tourism development, but that now it is \u201cour turn\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Rama also revealed that now the focus is on a \u201chigher quality\u201d of tourists, noting that hotel brands such as Waldorf Astoria and Aman are planning on opening hotels in the country. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maxime Pr\u00e9vot, is personally leading this effort,\u201d Ambassador White said.<\/p>\n<p>The move could happen before the end of the year, or early next year.<\/p>\n<h2>\u2018We have to put our money where our mouth is\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>On the \u201cmanaging visitor flows and shaping tomorrow\u2019s destinations\u201d panel, MEP Daniel Attard emphasised the need to invest in better connections, such as rail and airports.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s because many of the under-the-radar places that would truly benefit from tourism lack the infrastructure to bring tourists in.<\/p>\n<p>As such, \u201cwe have to put the money where our mouth is at the European level\u201d, he said, adding that \u201cwe have to create better connections, invest in new
