Report from 25-27 September 2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Skiers and Snowboarders know, Ohau Snowfields<\/a> provides powder snow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A delicious foot-plus of primo fresh snow danced across Ohau\u2019s ski area from Friday to Sunday.<\/strong> And that there was hardly soul there certainly added shine to an already fabulous situation.<\/p>\n

The good news got started Friday, with low, think cloud bringing the first few fresh inches atop a smoothly set base.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Conditions were playful, low consequence, and spectacular for the fact that, on the Friday) there were all of about 12 people skiing it\u2014and all of them your close friends.<\/strong> Stoked.<\/p>\n

    Wind picked-up shortly after, which is well-par for the course in these parts. And the clouds that rode in were laden with delightful powder snow, which would be dropped throughout Saturday night and into Sunday morning.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Again, when even a modest crowd would have seemed matter of course, instead one finds mostly open space at Ohau.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Snow fell with happy energy and accumulated quickly across all aspects of the Snowfield.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Its gentle beauty was matched only by its friendly accessibility.<\/strong> Parents skied POW with their kids on what usually is the World Cup training course. And again, everybody present were either family or friends.<\/p>\n
