Whilst I got to experience a hands-off demo of the new content (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/witcher-3-songs-of-the-past-behind-closed-doors-preview\">which I loved<\/a>), no one in the public has yet had chance to get their hands on the title. So, it seems like CD Projekt Red is doing the next best thing and get our, erm, ears on it instead.<\/p>\n<p>Milan records has today releaseed what it is calling The witcher 3: Wild hunt \u2013 Songs of the Past (OST Gamescom 2026 EP). The release is a five-track EP featuring music by Magda Urba\u0144ska, Marcin Przyby\u0142owicz and Daniel Elms. <a href=\"https:\/\/thewitcher.lnk.to\/songsofthepastEP\">Available everywhere now<\/a>, the EP includes music featured in the upcoming third expansion from the role-playing game that we got a small taste of last month. That music was extraordinary then, and it remains extraordinary to this day.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"injection_placeholder\" data-position=\"1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve worked with classical music for most of my life, but folk requires a completely different sensibility \u2014 it has its own tone and form, while also offering enormous creative freedom. But our roots, our Slavic heritage, are something more than that \u2014 something that runs deep within us, something that grows out of who we are.
