Three fan-favorite Batman<\/a> movies are being re-released in theaters next week in celebration of Batman Day.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. has announced some big plans for Batman Day next week, one of which includes a whole weekend of Batman films in theaters. The studio will be re-releasing Tim Burton’s Batman, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, and The LEGO Batman Movie at participating AMC, Cinemark, and Regal theaters. However, feel free to check other chains as well; I also found a few smaller theaters playing some of these films.<\/p>\n

The rollout will begin on Friday, September 18, with one movie playing each night throughout the weekend. According to listings, Batman will play on September 18, Mask of the Phantasm will screen on September 19, and The LEGO Batman Movie will be shown on September 20. In the past, theaters have shown Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy during this period, but that doesn’t appear to be the case this year. Instead, TNT will be airing the trilogy on TV on September 19, and of course, they’ll also be available to stream on HBO Max.<\/p>\n

While most fans have likely seen Burton’s Batman at some point in their lives, it’s worth seeing big and loud in a movie theater, if given the opportunity. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is also well worth seeing in theaters, as it had a theatrical release back in the 90s, but not many people actually made it to the theater to check it out. It’s arguably one of the best Batman films out there, and if you haven’t seen it at all, there’s no better way to experience it than on the big screen.<\/p>\n

In related news, Batman’s next big-screen adventure is still a ways off. The Batman Part 2 starring Robert Pattinson<\/a> is officially filming throughout the rest of the year and will hit theaters in February 2027<\/a>, after years of production delays. The film’s plot and villains are being kept under wraps, but Sebastian Stan is heavily rumored and speculated to play Harvey Dent\/Two Face<\/a>.<\/p>\n
