Nintendo has discussed further details of its live-action The Legend of Zelda<\/a> movie, including its title and story.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Revealed during today’s The Legend of Zelda-dedicated Nintendo Direct by Shigeru Miyamoto, we learned that (unsurprisingly) the film’s title will be: The Legend of Zelda. Why isn’t there a subtitle? Miyamoto said that when we watch the movie, we’ll find out.<\/p>\n

As for the film’s story, Miyamoto said that it would be based on stories and concepts from the franchise so far. In other words, don’t expect this to be a direct adaptation of a particular game. Otherwise, details on the movie remain thin on the ground (and sadly, there’s no sign of Tingle just yet).<\/p>\n
