When it comes to mountain bike clothing, I think simpler is better. The t-shirt jersey is a classic for good reason \u2014 it\u2019s comfortable, fits most bodies, and looks good too. Here are some of my favorite solid-color tops for mountain biking.<\/p>\n

Outdoor Research Freewheel MTB Short Sleeve Jersey<\/h2>\n

The Outdoor Research (OR) Freewheel short sleeve mountain bike jersey boasts UPF 30+ sun protection and is made with a polyester \/ spandex fabric. It\u2019s available in three different designs, though the Pro Khaki version shown here is currently the only solid-color choice.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the light color, the mostly polyester Freewheel has kept me surprisingly cool this summer. A women\u2019s version<\/a> of the Freewheel short sleeve jersey is available in four colors, including a solid \u201cMalachite\u201d color that looks great.<\/p>\n
