\n\tCountry Music Hall of Famer Randy Travis is set to release an album of never-before-heard music when his upcoming album, Same Old Way<\/em>, drops on Nov. 13 via Warner Records Nashville, he announced Friday (Sept. 4).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe album is filled with all-new material that Travis recorded from 1986 to 2013, and marks his first album of original material in more than 18 years.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe same day as the album announcement, Travis released the set\u2019s title track, which he wrote with his longtime producer and friend Kyle Lehning, marking the only song the two have written together, and the first time Lehning has a major songwriting credit.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen life throws you a curveball, swing for the fences the \u2018same old way\u2019 and hope you knock it out of the park!\u201d the musician said in a statement. \u201cTeam\u00a0Travis\u00a0helped me run the bases on this one, and it feels like a home run!\u00a0It\u2019s a joy and a blessing\u00a0to be able to bring new music to my listeners \u2014 thank you all for still showing up for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTravis has already released two singles from the upcoming album, \u201cFish On\u201d and \u201cI Don\u2019t Care.\u201d Lehning took recordings that had been locked away in the vault and assembled, remixed and remastered the recordings, with Travis\u2019s input.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis year also marks four decades since Travis\u2019s debut album, Storms of Life<\/em>, which included the hits \u201cOn the Other Hand\u201d and \u201cDiggin\u2019 Up Bones.\u201d Later this year, Travis will conclude his More Life Tour, which visited 54 cities and 24 states.<\/p>\n
