\n\tThe week\u2019s best-seller on vinyl, Wildchild<\/em> is the followup to Warren\u2019s debut collection You\u2019ll Be Alright, Kid<\/em>, which peaked at No. 2 last year and lifts 11-5 on the latest ARIA Chart, published late Friday, Sept. 4.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll Be Alright, Kid <\/em>housed Warren\u2019s hit \u201cOrdinary,\u201d which led the ARIA Top 100 Singles Chart for the year 2025. \u201cOrdinary\u201d currently sits at No. 4 on the national singles survey. The Californian singer and songwriter is currently in these parts for the Australasian leg of his\u00a0Finding Family on the Road World Tour 2026<\/em>, presented by Frontier Touring.<\/p>\n

\n\tVenerated Australian songsmith Paul Kelly returns to the ARIA Chart with Seventy<\/em>, which bounces to No. 2 off the back of a deluxe edition. The album opened and peaked at No. 2 last November, becoming Kelly\u2019s 14th<\/sup> top 10 album. The winner of 16 career ARIA Awards, Kelly was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 1997; received the prestigious Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Services to Australian Music at the 2011 APRA Music Awards; and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the 2017 Australia Day Honours. Kelly was a keynote speaker Tuesday (Sept. 1) at the 2026 BIGSOUND conference in Brisbane.<\/p>\n

\n\tVeteran U.S. heavyweights Mastodon roar onto the ARIA Chart with Marrow Deep<\/em>, their ninth studio album. It\u2019s new at No. 6, for the rockers\u2019 third top 10 appearance after Once More \u2018Round The Sun<\/em> (No. 3 in 2014) and Emperor Of Sand<\/em> (No. 7 in 2017).<\/p>\n

\n\tClose behind is Victorian metalcore band Ocean Sleeper with Peace When I\u2019m Dead<\/em>, their second studio album. It\u2019s new at No. 7 for their first ARIA Chart appearance.<\/p>\n

\n\tHomegrown country sweethearts Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley make a show at No. 12 with Souls On Show, their third album together. The happy couple reached No. 16 with Adam & Brooke (2018) and No. 26 with Up, Down & Sideways (from 2023). As a member of the McClymonts, Brooke won two ARIA Awards and bagged six top 40 albums, according to ARIA.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Brisbane-born artist Jem Cassar-Daley cracks the top 20 with her debut studio album, Tattoos Used To Come Off In The Pool.<\/em> It\u2019s new at No. 18. Cassar-Daley, the daughter of Aussie country great Troy Cassar-Daley and local TV personality Laurel Edwards, performed several showcases this week during the BIGSOUND nighttime program.<\/p>\n

\n\tOver on the ARIA Singles Chart, Ella Langley lassos her 12th non-consecutive week at No. 1 with \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFinally, the late Queen of Country, Dolly Parton, completes a rare podium sweep on ARIA\u2019s On Replay Singles Chart, which ranks tracks that were released two or more years ago. Parton is at No. 1 with \u201c9 to 5,\u201d at No. 2 with \u201cJolene,\u201d and her Kenny Rogers duet \u201cIslands In The Stream,\u201d written by ARIA Hall of Fame inductees Bee Gees, is at No. 3.<\/p>\n

\n\tAustralia\u2019s prime minister Anthony Albanese was one of the many fans who paid tribute to Dolly, who died Aug. 25 at the age of 80.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
