Forget about Grand Theft Auto VI<\/em><\/a> for a second because there’s a big update coming to the multiplayer portion of GTA V<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Rockstar Games announced on its website<\/a> that a big GTA<\/em> role-playing update called nopixel V is starting a closed beta on Sept. 8. It’s primarily meant for the GTA <\/em>roleplaying community, who use GTA Online<\/em> as a platform to tell their own stories, and anyone who gets invited to the beta will be able to launch into it straight from the GTA V<\/em> launcher. <\/p>\n

In the update, Rockstar is promising enhanced visuals, deeper character customization, a wider variety of ways to make money, and NPCs who are smarter and more reactive to your actions. There’s even a big casino for you to visit. So far, it seems like this stuff is going to be relegated to the GTA Online<\/em> experience, but perhaps that will change over time. <\/p>\n
