\n\tWhile chatting casually with bandmates Yoonchae in Lara in a hotel room, Megan asked, \u201cShould I show how swollen my ankle is?\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI have to show a picture,\u201d she continued. \u201cIt was the sign of a tennis ball, guys. It was bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 20-year-old Hawaii native then pulled up photos of her injured left ankle, which was bruised red and visibly enlarged compared to her right.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMy ankle was purple,\u201d she said as Yoonchae and Lara gasped at the photos, adding that the sprained ankle has returned to its \u201cnormal color,\u201d although still \u201ca little swollen.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tKATSEYE had been scheduled to perform at Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s inaugural charity festival on Aug. 29 in Irvine, Calif., but announced two days prior that it had been forced to withdraw from the lineup due to Megan\u2019s injury. The performer also addressed fans in an individual statement, writing on her Instagram Story, \u201cI sprained my ankle during tour rehearsal and my doctors have advised me to stay off it and let it heal so I can be ready for tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m heartbroken to miss Daisy Chain Fields, especially because of everything this festival stands for,\u201d she continued at the time. \u201cI\u2019m sending all my love to Olivia and to all of the incredible artists, non-profit organizations and volunteers who have given their time to make this day so special.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlt-pop singer Devon Again ended up filling in for KATSEYE at the festival, while Megan, Yoonchae and Lara made a brief appearance on stage to say hello and introduce Baby2Baby, one of the charities that benefited from Daisy Chain\u2019s profits.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe girl group has since kicked off the Wildworld Tour, which began Tuesday in Dublin. Only four of six members took the stage, however, as Manon has been on hiatus since February and Sophia temporarily stepped away from the band in August. <\/p>\n

\n\tKATSEYE\u2019s new EP, WILD<\/em>, debuted atop the Billboard 200, marking the band\u2019s first-ever No. 1 on the chart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
