Reigning F1 world champion<\/a> and former Fiat 500 Jolly owner<\/a> Lando Norris (those being his two biggest claims to fame) has established his own junior racing team, which will start competing throughout the motorsport ladder in 2027.<\/p>\n

Co-founded by Lando and an investment firm led by business guru Dan Richards, the team will be called LN4 Fusion and will join single-seater grids including Italian F4, the Formula Regional European Championship (FRECA) and Formula 3 next year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

LN4 Fusion also wants to run in Formula 2 next season, but its application is yet to be rubber-stamped.<\/p>\n

Norris has hired Ren\u00e9 Rosin \u2013 the man who founded and ran the Prema outfit that\u2019s racked up countless junior titles this side of the millennium \u2013 to be Team Principal, while Julian Rouse will oversee the team\u2019s young driver scheme.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It calls the LN4 Legacy Programme an “independent, fully funded driver development” operation, that will “identify and support exceptional young talent” by removing “financial barriers while providing drivers with access to the same calibre of coaching, mentoring and career support that helped shape Lando\u2019s own career”.<\/p>\n

And Lando isn\u2019t just the face of the brand \u2013 the world champ is reportedly putting his own money into this as his way of giving back to the sport. What a dude.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been really lucky to have some amazing people around me throughout my career, and I know that getting to Formula 1 takes so much more than just talent,\u201d Norris explains.<\/p>\n

LN4 Fusion is about building a race team that can compete with the best in junior motorsport, with great people and a great environment for drivers to develop. The LN4 Legacy Programme is about helping talented young drivers get opportunities they might not otherwise have.<\/p>\n
