Game of Thrones star Kit Harington has given a disappointing update on the future of his Marvel character Dane Whitman, better known as Black Knight. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Harrington joined the MCU as part of an extraordinarily starry cast in the 2021 sci-fi blockbuster Eternals<\/a>. But despite Eternal’s end credits promising that its superhero team would return, no mention has been made of the characters since, following the film’s poor critical and commercial performance.<\/p>\n

Marvel boss Kevin Feige admitted back in 2022 that there are no plans for an Eternals 2 at the current time, and there’s been zero word to suggest this has changed in the meantime. But perhaps more than any other character in the Eternals, fans have long held onto hope that Harington could still reprise his role someday \u2014 if not in a full sequel then perhaps in another project.<\/p>\n
