For millennials of a certain disposition, Mewtwo is indisputably the coolest Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> in the world. If you count yourself among that crowd and you’ve still got Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> on your phone, we have good news.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> developer Scopely posted a quick notice on the game’s website alerting players that Armored Mewtwo, a special variant of the Psychic-type Pok\u00e9mon that comes from the 2019 film Pok\u00e9mon: Mewtwo Strikes Back \u2013 Evolution<\/em>. That movie is actually a remake of the 1998 stone-cold classic Pok\u00e9mon: The First Movie<\/em>, in which Mewtwo was a central part of the plot. The original movie was kind of load bearing for anyone around my age, and we recently saw Mewtwo make an appearance in the Lego Smart Play Pok\u00e9mon sets<\/a> and new SanDisk drives<\/a>.<\/p>\n
