killing at least one person and injuring five others. All of the victims were residents of Switzerland, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has named the woman killed in the shooting as Italian national Maria Spinelli.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I wish to express my deepest condolences on the death of Maria Spinelli, the young Italian woman who fell victim to the tragic shooting in Aarau, Switzerland,&#8221; Meloni wrote on X.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My thoughts are also with the other injured, including two Italian citizens, and with all those affected by this tragic incident,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n<p>Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis also reportedly expressed his condolences to his Italian counterpart, Antonio Tajani. Tajani has sent a task force to Switzerland to support local authorities, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting occurred at around 2.30 am during a rave. Witnesses said they initially mistook the gunshots for fireworks. Around 10 shots can be heard in a video published by Swiss newspaper &#8220;Blick,&#8221; which was reportedly recorded near the scene.<\/p>\n<p>There have also been reports of a possible second crime scene. Swiss broadcaster Tele M1 reported that shots were also fired at members of the travelling community.
