People were singing along and looking so happy. It was really beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although she grew up not far away in London, this was Absolutely\u2019s first-ever visit to Reading Festival \u2013 so to perform on the main stage, she said, was \u201creally insane\u201d.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad0 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span><\/div>\n<p>She\u2019d come straight from a meet-and-greet with fans, of which she said: \u201cThere were so many lovely people, just saying that they loved seeing me live, and came and saw me on different tours, opening for Rene\u00e9 Rapp and my sister, RAYE. People were saying they love my world and my fashion and things like that. Some people made little outfits to resemble my stage looks, which was so cute.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked if that inspired her for future projects, Absolutely replied: \u201cIt feels like everything I\u2019m doing is not in vain. It feels like it\u2019s appreciated and understood and people really care about it. It gives me more reason to wanna keep creating.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The singer also reflected on her eclectic second album, \u2018Paracosm\u2019, which was released in February: \u201cIt really started from me separating myself from thinking and creating from a logical perspective, or trying to craft a song that people are gonna like. I was creating from more of a place of, \u2018What do I enjoy creating?\u2019 [I was] playing. That was the concept of the album.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad1 id_ad_content-horiz-center\">\n<h5 class=\"taboola-mid-article-title\">Recommended<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cSomebody commented on my YouTube, \u2018She is my \u2018Paracosm\u2019. For some reason, I felt drawn to that word. I don\u2019t know why. I searched what it meant\u2026 It basically just means fantastical worlds, places and characters that you create as a child that extend through to your adulthood. So that was the place that I was in when I was creating the album \u2013 really trying to look through the lens of childlike wonder.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause when I was a child, I wasn\u2019t thinking about anything when I was creating \u2013 I was just doing it. I was just playing. There were no boundaries, no rules, no consequences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked if that fan knew that they\u2019d inspired her second album, Absolutely replied: \u201cI don\u2019t know, actually!\u201d She then turned to the camera to address the commenter: \u201c<em>You<\/em> titled my album.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The interview took place a few hours before RAYE headlined the main stage and shortly after Amma appeared on the Canopy stage.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-a-ad id_inline_ad2 id_ad_content-horiz-center\"><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">Advertisement<\/span><\/div>\n<p>Absolutely revealed that she and RAYE had attended Amma\u2019s show: \u201cIt was so wholesome\u2026 She did amazing, and I was seeing RAYE up on the sidelines for my set, and we\u2019ve all been hanging out. It was just second nature in our house.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked what\u2019s next for her creatively, she explained: \u201cNext is figuring out what the next musical world is, which I\u2019m stepping into now, and it\u2019s exciting to be back in the studio again. And thinking about what an Absolutely tour would look like, which is exciting.
