The Cantonal police\u00a0said that a \u200cmajor \u200boperation is underway and\u00a0asked people to stay away from the area.<\/p>\n

Police are also appealing to\u00a0people to share any videos or images of the incident.<\/p>\n

According to Swiss newspaper Blick<\/em>, the shots were fired before 3:00 a.m. local time (0100 GMT)\u00a0during the Aarauer Rave.<\/p>\n

The newspaper quoted\u00a0police spokeswoman Vanessa Rumpold as saying that the shooting occurred at a race course, where the techno party was being held.<\/p>\n

There is no immediate information on who fired the shots or if there were any fatalities.<\/p>\n
