Sarah Ferguson was thought to be living abroad after she was forced to move out of Royal Lodge in Windsor, which she shared with her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, in October.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It is believed she has been spending her time out of the public eye at an Alpine chalet in Verbier, Switzerland, since leaving Royal Lodge. Her belongings were collected from Mountbatten-Windsor’s home in Sandringham this week, the newspaper added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

She had been keeping a low profile since losing her titles alongside Mountbatten-Windsor after she became mired in the scandal about her connections to Epstein, and faced calls to speak to US authorities after last year’s release of millions of documents shed new light on their relationship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In one email exchange from 2011, she appeared to privately apologise for her public rejection of Epstein, saying: “You have always been a steadfast, generous and supreme friend to me and my family.” <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A spokesperson for the duchess previously said the email was sent after Epstein had threatened to sue her for defamation – in an effort to convince him not to.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Another email suggested Ferguson took her daughters to see Epstein in the US days after he was released from prison for child sex crimes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ferguson lost her courtesy royal divorcee title and reverted to her maiden name, and also lost the freedom of the city of York after councillors voted unanimously to remove the honour over the scandal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
