the US airlines to announce new direct flights to destinations in Europe next year.<br \/>\n    <\/h2>\n<div class=\"c-article-content c-article-content--travel js-article-content\">\n<p>It\u2019s been a busy time in the US aviation sector with airlines announcing a raft of new nonstop flight routes for 2027, including many to Europe.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"c-ad u-show-for-mobile-only\">\n<div class=\"c-ad__placeholder\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"c-ad__placeholder__logo\" Philadelphia to Porto and Vienna; Delta from Austin to Paris; and United from Newark to Luxembourg, Ljubljana and Ibiza. <\/p>\n<p>Here we take a look at some of the new flights which will connect the US and Europe in 2027. <\/p>\n<h3>Alaska Airlines<\/h3>\n<p>Next spring, Alaska Airlines will launch its first flights from Seattle to Athens and Paris Charles de Gaulle. The Seattle-Athens service will begin on 12 May 2027, operating three times a week, while the Seattle-Paris route will launch on 25 May 2027, flying five times per week. Both seasonal routes will continue until October 2027.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seattle-Athens: from 12 May 2027 until October 2027<\/li>\n<li>Athens-Seattle: from 13 May 2027 until October 2027<\/li>\n<li>Seattle-Paris: from 25 May 2027 until October 2027<\/li>\n<li>Paris-Seattle: from 26 May 2027 until October 2027<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>American Airlines<\/h3>\n<p>American has confirmed its international schedule for next summer. It will add three new destinations to its network from Philadelphia \u2013 serving Porto and Vienna for the first time ever and offering flights to Reykjavik for the first time since 2019. American will be the only US airline flying to Austria\u2019s capital Vienna when its service begins next May.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the new destinations, American will also expand its network with nonstop routes from New York JFK to Amsterdam and Nice; from Charlotte in North Carolina to Barcelona; while adding a fourth daily flight between JFK and London Heathrow.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New York 2027<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Delta<\/h3>\n<p>Beginning on 27 March 2027, Delta will launch the first-ever nonstop service from Austin to Paris Charles de Gaulle. <\/p>\n<p>The service from the Texan city will operate daily during the summer season, with passengers able to connect beyond Europe through Delta&#8217;s joint venture partnership with Air France-KLM and Virgin Atlantic. <\/p>\n<p>During the
