Games.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat started as a return to gravel racing has delicately snowballed into a full-on Olympic dream,\u201d Phinney wrote in April when he revealed his intention to qualify for the Games. \u201cIt\u2019s been super fun and rewarding to find the love for training and ripping high speeds again over the past few months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe track was where I first found love and success in this sport. Haffey\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Racing under the moniker \u201cTeam of Dreams,\u201d Phinney\u2019s foursome obliterated the national TP final Sunday by catching their rivals in the 5th of 16 laps.<\/p>\n<p>For Phinney, that\u2019s a pretty good outcome after he claimed that he\u2019d not held a time trial position \u201cin probably seven years\u201d until his recent comeback.<\/p>\n<p>Bethany Ingram, Anna Hicks, Olivia Cummins, and Ella Sabo won the jerseys for the women\u2019s team pursuit.<\/p>\n<p>Phinney represented USA at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Olympic Games, but only once on the track.<\/p>\n<p>That one time Phinney hit the Olympic boards?
