American skiing legend Lindsey Vonn recently took to social media<\/a> to celebrate a new recovery milestone.\u00a0<\/strong>Six and a half months after her crash at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, the 41-year-old speed star is back on her bike.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst time back on a road bike\u2026I cried,\u201d Vonn wrote.\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cI\u2019m happy and thankful.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Vonn, getting back on the bike was an emotional moment as she continues to recover from what many deemed a career-ending injury. <\/strong>She celebrated her first post-crash bike ride alongside her dog, Chance, as she makes significant progress towards a potential return to the snow. In just the past few weeks, Vonn has also shared multiple videos of her in the gym performing various squat and deadlift patterns that suggest her recovery is headed in the right direction.<\/p>\n
