Just 100 days remain until Mont Sutton\u2019s projected winter opening on Dec. 5. In 2016, local investors Jean-Michel Ryan, Pierre Chesnay, and Sylvain Gervais purchased Ski Sutton Inc. from its original founders, the Boulanger family. They took over operations with a clear vision: protecting the mountain\u2019s untamed soul while methodically planning and funding extensive infrastructure upgrades.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Of the $12-million funding package driving Sutton\u2019s master plan, $8 million was directed into this phase for the acquisition and engineering of the new lift infrastructure.<\/strong> The remaining $4 million covers the physical restructuring of the surrounding runs, relocated learning tracks, and automated low-energy snowmaking upgrades along the lower corridors.
